im considering relocating to the houston area, im currently a realtor in nj, can anyone tell me more about the local real estate market?

Like much of the nation, we are waiting for buyers to come back on the market, but home prices are still good, and there is still a need. Realtors are trying to find ways to be successful now, but I have not heard of many leaving the profession as of yet, as is happening in some spots.

also through research i have heard that the things i should be worried about is the crime,traffic, low police presence and tree roaches, are these items listed legitimate things to really worry about?
