The best parks for families in Houston are the Karl E.Young Park and Fire Truck Park. The Karl E.Young Park has the usual slides, swings and sandpits but the Fire Truck Park has a real 1935 fire truck for kids to enjoy scrambling over. The best park for adults is Bell Park at 4800 Montrose. It is a haven of peace in the busy Museum district, with a pond, a waterfall, fountain and bridges.

The Woodlands has nature trails, sidewalks through out all subdivisions. Pretty..lots of trees. SAFE, Nice people..
